“…. Make things right and start all over again ….”
I heard that song during TV commercial break while I finally have my me time with scratchy. This 1 minute commercial break shows a girl walking on a string between tall buildings and meets a man on another rooftop, that’s when those lyrics were heard. It seems so simple, showing that by leaving things behind, you could move on and start over again. I wish making things right and starting over again could be done that fast.
Somehow I wonder what does it mean with starting over, does it mean to start everything from zero where you do not do things that made you want to start over? Does it also mean making people forget whatever happened between us? Or just to leave everything you have now and move to another place and start a new life with new friends, neighborhood, and job? Does it like restarting your computer when it is frozen?
People might think that starting over means anything above, but isn’t it only physically applicable? You could change any visible things, but you could not change people’s mind. You could make yourself travel from one place to another, from one circle of friends to another, from one profession to another, but only to find that from time to time you never forget who you used to be even though when you think you have changed so much.
Every sequence in a life will bring you up and down, truth and fault, happy and sad, rich and poor, with and without company, which might tempt us making mistakes in our life. You could change this sequence by making more mistakes or by making things rights, but whatever you do will not make you somebody else. You are still responsible for whatever you done before. You might be fortunate enough to forget worst things happened in your life, but forgiveness will be the best remedy.
But the question is, how is making things right and forgiveness will bring me to a better sequence in life? I do not want to get lost in this labyrinth.
PS: Speaking about new sequence in life, I would like to give my wishes for my fellow bloggers, aaqq and farid, who had just starting new family, happy for you both :).
